At this point, due to the presence of axial and radial clearances, the ring can still float freely in the ring groove, thereby compensating for the piston rod's runout.
The function of the oil scraper ring is to prevent the lubricating oil in the crankcase and body from flowing through the piston rod to the middle body or cylinder, thereby contaminating the compression medium.
